Kindled Rose

I don't use yellow very often, so I thought I'd try it on a rose. This is the same rose model that I used in Blue Rose. I created a silky yellow and orange material with some translucency in Vue.

A pastel winter fractal scene like snow flurries blowing in the wind. But there's nothing cold or uninviting about this snowstorm. Soft white flakes appear scattered against the swirling sky blue and lavender. Accenting the piece is a silver filigree snowflake studded with jewels and pearls. Sparkling white diamonds, pale blue and pink heart shaped gems, and lavender-tinted pearls twinkle at the viewer. The title is a dance from 'The Nutcracker' ballet by Tchaikovsky.

Waltz of the Snowflakes

A nice snowy design to celebrate winter. The title is from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite. The background fractal is from Apophysis, jewels rendered in Vue, the rest in Paint Shop Pro.
