Crown Him!

“All hail the power of Jesus' name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all!

“Sinners, whose love can ne'er forget
The wormwood and the gall,
Go, spread your trophies at His feet,
And crown Him Lord of all!

“Oh, that with yonder sacred throng
We at His feet may fall!
We'll join the everlasting song,
And crown Him Lord of all!”

Created in Vue.

A golden sun rising over a field of purple tulips.

Purple Jubilee

I saw a picture with purple tulips in the sunlight and wanted to create something like it in Vue. There are lots of tulips planted in my yard, but because they were planted in the shade, they rarely bloom. Tulips like lots of sunshine!

An overgrown path meandering through the birch forest on a sunny summer day. In the shade of the trees cluster carpets of bluebells in shades of blue and purple contrasting with the spring green of the grass and birches.

Bluebell Light

Another scene in the birch wood, to celebrate spring.

Fool's Light

A snow-covered path meandering through the birch forest on a dark winter night. The way is lined with lampposts giving off a silvery blue glow, but in the shadows are bright, mesmerizing shapes like little fairy lights, luring the traveler off the trail. In the distance the lavender glow of some mysterious forest gathering lights up the cold sky.

Fool's Light

Don't follow the lights!
This is another version of my birch woods scene.

A walk through the birch woods in winter.

Silent Light

This is a winter version of Falling Light. I was particularly focusing on the colors and depth of the snow, inspired by a picture from a calendar - Long Forgotten by Michael Humphries.
